Aurora Borealis Bargello Quilt (lap sized/large wallhanging)
With the creation of strip sets, slicing and dicing them, and arranging the values using a number chart, you will be amazed at the finished results! Fabric choices can be very planned by color family or simply by using scraps from your stash. (1/4 yards plus borders!) Accurate rotary cutting and stitching is a must, but it’s a perfect challenge to take on, supported by an experienced instructor and fellow students! This is a two-part class with the first session being 2 hours, some homework, and followed by a 4-hour class. Please note that the book (Twist-and-Turn Bargello by Eileen Wright) is out of print. You may be able to find it online for a reasonable price or at the library or from a friend. You may even have a copy yourself that you’ve been waiting to use! If not, Mindy will provide an alternate way on her supply list. We have to be careful with copyright laws, whether something is out of print or not.
